To create Hedgerow Paste, we’ve taken the key ingredients in Hedgerow GI — several gut-supportive forage plants of traditional English hedgerows — and given the formula an extra boost from Triphala, another GI-supportive herbal blend rooted in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. In addition, we’ve included probiotic bacterial strains, plus apple pectin and sunflower lecithin, which are both known for their gastro-protective properties.

When given in combination, all of these ingredients may help to:

What goes into Hedgerow Paste?

Organic Triphala powder is composed of three fruits native to South Asia: Amalaki (Indian gooseberry), Bibhitaki, and Haritaki. One of the most recommended and widely used herbal blends in all of Ayurvedic medicine, Triphala is considered balancing for all three doshas, and is recommended for nourishing and rejuvenating the GI tract. Triphala supports not only proper functioning of the digestive system, but also supports the circulatory and respiratory systems.

Bacillus subtilis is a beneficial spore-forming probiotic strain that can resist acids in the stomach, allowing it to pass safely into the small intestine where it blocks pathogenic bacteria, allowing other beneficial probiotic strains to colonize. Our formula provides 50 billion CFUs of B. subtilis.

BioFlora EQ is a unique BioStar probiotic blend that includes: Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium lactis, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, inulin, and mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS).
